Well Monday turned to Tuesday still no package, paid priority mail but it stayed on courier because the post office wouldn't  accept Toll parcels . Went with plan B and did a " killick " fix . Oh so cold last night  . At 5am it was -0 .6 c and BOM said felt like it was- 5.4c. Good to leave the cold behind . In Blackall tonight

Currently in Mitchell at Neil Turner weir with about 60 other vans etc . Most people are good but the odd selfish one spoil it , so desperate to get the best spot. Ptobably be here until Monday as we needed an adapter for our off road hitch and have ordered one from nsw . Manufacturer advised not to drive without it , although have come about 500ks already without any problems. The van did seem a bit different so now I know. Quite cool last night but should be 28c today with rain expected later . Probably have to move as we are on black soil , anyway see what happens. Might do some  tourist stuff today

Out the gate at last. Did a GVM upgrade at Pedders in Maryborough increased GVM to 3420kgs . New springs , shocks ,bushes front and back . Plus set air bags.  What a difference it made . Vehicle sits level when fully loaded and smooth as ride . Got away at 2.00pm , spending the night at Biggenden .

Just about ready to leave today for the trip north . Oops ute springs not carrying the load . Same amount of stuff as last trip but not a 40ft motorhome this time . Have to postpone leaving for a couple of days . Need to visit suspension gurus and upgrade springs and maybe add airbags as well . Ah well throw enough many and you can fix anything . Cheer for now

finally after 3 days of frustration on the laptop have managed to find my blog
